Some great news to start your week! As of Friday April 10, our “Operation Sing Again” program has shipped 41,250 Gospel Music Hymn Sing DVDs to 13,750 Nursing Homes across the USA! Now, more than ever, these songs and DVDs are bringing hope and comfort to people who need to sing again!
This is why we started “Operation Sing Again!” So far, we’ve placed sets of 3 Gospel Music Hymn Sing DVDs into almost 13,000 Nursing Care facilities across the USA! Our goal is to reach the remaining 2,640 Nursing Care facilities in the coming months, before moving to Phase 2… Assisted Living facilities, then Phase 3… Alzheimer’s Respite Care programs, and Adult Day Care facilities.
It was a great blessing to have a very large number of young people in the audience, at the Gospel Music Hymn Sing in Jacksonville last night…including the basketball team from Pensacola Christian College! These young ladies (11 & 12 years old) were on the 6th row, and knew every word of every song we sang! #MadeMeSmile #GoodRaising

Several caregivers and residents from Signature Healthcare showed up at one Greater Vision’s concerts at Dollywood today, holding up this sign from the front row, so the guys on stage could see it. “Thank you for Operation Sing Again!” The card was signed by some of the precious residents who watch the Gospel Music Hymn Sing DVDs regularly.
This is why the GMHS Foundation’s “Operation Sing Again” program is so important!

Nashville, TN (Oct. 8, 2019) — What began as a simple sing-along at a concert in Shipshewana, Indiana, has grown into a successful tour and video series known as Gerald Wolfe’s Gospel Music Hymn Sing. On Monday, October 28, 2019, the tour will make a stop in Nashville to perform a special benefit concert in support of Veranda Ministries.
Veranda Ministries is a nonprofit organization located in the Nashville suburb of Gallatin, Tennessee, that provides a variety of services in support of senior citizens, particularly those struggling with dementia or Alzheimer’s, and their caregivers. The ministry has a number of friends in the Southern Gospel world, and many will come together Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. CT for an evening of joyful worship as they lead the audience in favorite hymns. The concert lineup includes Greater Vision, The Mark Trammell Quartet, The Whisnants, Jim & Melissa Brady, The Mylon Hayes Family, Tribute Quartet, The Talleys, and the Hymn Sing Band.
In a Facebook post, Gerald wrote, “Anybody who has had a family member or friend struggling with Alzheimer’s or Dementia knows what kind of emotional and physical strain it puts on the caregivers. That’s why we’re doing a Gospel Music Hymn Sing event on October 28th in Nashville… To benefit The Veranda, a respite care ministry for families affected by Alzheimer’s and Dementia. 100% of the event’s proceeds will benefit this great ministry in the Nashville area. We hope you’ll join us, or at least let your friends and family in the Nashville area know about it. It’s going to be a great, inspiring, encouraging evening!”
This week, we’ve received some very nice, “thank you” notes from New Hampshire, Texas, Colorado, Mississippi, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, New Jersey, North Carolina, New York, Kansas, Connecticut, and even Hawaii… plus two letters from Veteran’s Retirement Homes in Maine and Louisiana. The outpouring of appreciation for the sets of DVD’s we’ve already placed in 8,000 Nursing Care facilities through Operation Sing Again is sometimes overwhelming. We are so grateful these great songs still bring hope and encouragement to people who need to know they are not forgotten. Thank you for helping us reach our goal of supplying DVDs to every full-time Nursing Care facility. We still have 7,640 facilities to reach the 15,640 facilities in the USA. So, we’ll be shipping DVDs to another 1,000 facilities over the next three to four weeks!
