The word is getting out about the importance of the great Hymns of our faith!

The DVDs have been especially beneficial as facilities operate during the COVID-19 pandemic, said Wolfe, a member of the Gospel Music Hymn Sing Foundation’s board, founder of the southern gospel quartet Greater Vision, and a member of First Baptist Church in Morristown.

“When we started Operation Sing Again, we had no idea that COVID was coming and that the residents in the nursing care facilities wouldn’t be allowed to have visitors for so long, but God knew,” Wolfe said. “We’ve received stacks of cards and notes from activity directors letting us know how encouraging the DVDs have been for their residents, especially during the last year. They’ve become a kind of lifeline connecting the residents to the familiar scenes of a church sanctuary, and the songs they sang all their lives.”

The Gospel Music Hymn Sing Team will be at Silver Dollar City on Monday, August 31st! While we’re all together, we’re going to go “live” on Facebook, sometime during the afternoon, to give you some VERY exciting news! Be sure your “notifications” are “on,” so you won’t miss it!

Another shipment of Gospel Music Hymn Sing DVDs going out today! This will bring our total to more than 15,000 Nursing Care facilities across the USA, that have received packages of DVDs for their residents to enjoy! #OperationSingAgain

Great News!!! As of last week, The Gospel Music Hymn Sing Foundation’s “Operation Sing Again” initiative reached another milestone! Operation Sing Again has now supplied sets of Gospel Music Hymn Sing DVDs to more than 14,500 full-time Nursing Care facilities across the USA!

So far today, we have received messages from all across the USA, as well as from Canada, India, Trinidad, and Indonesia… thanking us for the Gospel Music Hymn Sing videos we’ve recorded over the last five years. These great Hymns and Gospel classics are timeless, and cross all geographic, language, and generational boundaries!

We just received this email this today, from a Nursing Care Facility in Michigan…

“Thank you for the three DVD’s of gospel music. What a perfect time to receive them. Many of our residents find a great deal of strength in their faith and gospel music is deeply meaningful to them. We will be setting up a schedule for these to be played daily. As you know, many nursing homes have had to restrict visitation and this includes visits from their pastors, music entertainers and their family. I visit our residents room to room and sing to them, often gospel songs because this means so much to them. I have sat at the bedside of many saints (and not so saintly) in their last days and sang to them. It is a great ministry.

We have a broadcasting station that will allow us to play this every day to all the rooms. I will be playing them at 11 am. So, if you think of it, lift our residents up in prayer at that time.

Thank God for putting this vision in your heart. This is going to be a great blessing.”

We just received this card, about the “Operation Sing Again” package of DVDs received by a facility in Missouri.

Here’s a message we received today, from an Activities Director in New York…
“As the Director of Activities, I would like to thank you for sending us the DVD’s for our residents to use. This is probably the craziest time for residents in all nursing home due to not being able to gather together for any inspirational services. With the DVD’s, we will be able to share the time together (six feet apart of course) watching & listening to the music they love to hear! Thank you for your generosity and for caring about our elderly!!” #OperationSingAgain
